Assign messengers to organizers
This is where you place volunteers under an organizer so that organizer sees only their own team. Do it when you have more volunteers than one person can support.
How to think about it
Section titled “How to think about it”Assignments are how you split a large group of volunteers into teams a person can actually manage. Once you assign a volunteer to an organizer, that organizer sees that volunteer’s activity and no one else’s. Match volunteers to the organizer who can reach them, by geography or by how they already know each other. A volunteer with no organizer has no one checking in on them, so try not to leave people unassigned. Rebalance when a team grows too large to support well.
Assign a messenger
Section titled “Assign a messenger”- Open Assignments.
- Find the messenger and pick an organizer from the dropdown next to their name. It saves right away.
- To remove an assignment, choose Unassigned.
