Report reminder emails
If you share something from a campaign and don’t file a report on it within about a day, Echo sends you an email nudge. It isn’t a separate task. Filing the report you were already going to send is what stops it.
When it arrives
Section titled “When it arrives”Echo checks every hour for shares that are about a day old and still have no report. If yours qualifies, you get an email, but only between 9am and 9pm Eastern. If your one-day mark lands overnight, the email waits for the next check inside that window rather than going out while people are usually asleep.
If you shared more than one piece of content from the same campaign around the same time, one email covers all of it. If you keep sharing from that campaign and still don’t report, later shares can earn their own reminder once their own day is up. Each specific thing you shared only ever gets reminded once.
What’s in it
Section titled “What’s in it”The email recaps what you shared and how long ago, then gives you a File your report button. Selecting it signs you in and takes you straight to the report screen for that campaign. There is no separate login step. If the link has gone stale by the time you click it, open Echo and sign in normally instead.
What stops it
Section titled “What stops it”Filing a report on that specific piece of content clears the reminder for it. Pick it from the list in What did you share? rather than Something else. A general “something else” report isn’t tied to any one item, so it won’t clear a reminder that’s tracking a specific one. If the content was archived after you shared it, you can still find it in the Archived section of that step and report on it there.
If you never actually sent something you tapped Share on, clear it instead. On Your reports, open the ⋯ menu on that item and select I didn’t share this. Echo doesn’t remind you about a cleared item. See Report back.
