Report back

After you share or talk to people, you tell the organization how it went. Do it while the conversation is fresh.

Your report is what your organization sees. Without it, your work is invisible to them and the next campaign gets planned half-blind. Log the honest reaction, whether people were positive, mixed, or pushed back. Pushback is useful information, not a failure. If people argued, staff need to know why before the next message goes out. Write down what people actually said, in their words. A specific objection teaches more than a label. For how many people heard it, give your best guess. A rough number is fine. Report even when little happened, because quiet is also worth knowing.

  1. On your home screen, select How’d it go? File a report.
  2. Which network did you engage? Select the network you shared with or talked to.
  3. Say what you did:
    • On a digital network, What did you share? Tap the content you shared. If it is not listed, select Something else.
    • On an in-person network, What did you do? Choose Had a conversation, Handed out materials, or Hosted an event.
  4. How did people react? Choose Positive, Mixed, or Pushback.
  5. What happened? Write what people said in Your notes. Fill in About how many people heard this? and add Photos or video if you have them.
  6. Select Submit report.
