Publish and notify
This is where you take a campaign live and email the volunteers it reaches. You do it when the content and targeting are ready.
How to think about it
Section titled “How to think about it”Publishing makes the campaign visible to every volunteer whose groups fit your targeting. You can also email those volunteers so they know something new is waiting. Check your targeting before you publish, because that choice decides who gets the email and who sees the campaign at all. A campaign aimed too wide fills inboxes for people it does not fit, and they learn to ignore you. Send when volunteers have time to act, not in the middle of a workday when the message gets buried.
Publish it
Section titled “Publish it”- In the campaign editor, check your targeting first.
- Select Publish. The campaign appears for every volunteer whose networks match.
- To email those volunteers, turn on Notify messengers about new content before you save.
