Invite messengers
This is how you bring volunteers onto your team. You do it at the start and any time you recruit someone new.
How to think about it
Section titled “How to think about it”You invite people with a link you can send by text or email. Anyone who joins through your link lands on your team, so you do not have to sort them by hand later. Send it to people you can actually support, not a mass list. A volunteer who hears from you and gets a quick answer when they are stuck stays active. One who joins and never hears from you drifts off. Treat the invite as the start of a relationship, not a sign-up.
Share your invite link
Section titled “Share your invite link”- Open Invite Link.
- If there is no link yet, select Generate invite link.
- Under Your invite link, use the copy button to copy it.
- Send it to the people you want on your team. The page shows when the link expires, or No expiration.
- To shut off the current link and start fresh, select Regenerate. The old link stops working.
