The click map
This is where you see roughly where people clicked your shared links, drawn on a map. You read it to understand where a campaign is traveling.
How to think about it
Section titled “How to think about it”When a volunteer shares a tracked link, Echo records the rough location of each click and places it on a map. It also guesses which of the volunteer’s groups a click came from, and marks each guess as confirmed, split, or pending. Confirmed means Echo is fairly sure. Split means more than one group could explain it. Pending means it is waiting on the volunteer’s report to decide. Treat the map as a picture of where interest is, not a head count. The guesses get sharper as reports come in, so read it alongside the reports rather than on its own.
Read the click map
Section titled “Read the click map”- Open Reports and pick a campaign.
- Find Views by location. It maps where clicks on the shared links came from.
- Each click is matched to a network and marked confirmed, split, or pending.
