Coach your team

This is how you turn reports into help for your volunteers. You do it after a campaign has been out long enough to gather reactions.

Read your team’s reports for what people are saying, not only the counts. When a volunteer logs pushback, that is a chance to give them a better answer for next time, not a mark against them. When a volunteer is quiet, reach out before the next campaign, not after. Share what is working from one volunteer with the others, in plain terms. The reports tell you who needs a hand and what to say when you reach them.
